Welcome to FUMC Boerne
First United Methodist Church of Boerne welcomes you to the joy of our fellowship. We believe you will find a friendly congregation in which you can worship and serve with meaning.
FUMC-Boerne is large enough to have a broad program of ministry for all ages, but no one gets lost in the shuffle.
Everyone can participate and have a part in the total life of the church. Our spirit is warm and our morale is high. Both the experience and the expression of God's love are real to us. We extend to you a cordial invitation to visit with us, find your place of service and let this church be your spiritual home. We look forward to seeing you.

The Wesley Nurse is here!
A new ministry is at FUMC Boerne. In partnership with Methodist Healthcare Ministries, our Church is now host to a "Wesley Nurse" who serves Boerne and the broader Kendall county community. Please welcome Deedee Roder, RN, the new Wesley Nurse at FUMC Boerne. Her office is in Saxon Hall 101. The Wesley Nurse Health Ministries™ program (WNHM) is a faith-based, holistic program committed to serving the least served through education, health promotion, and facilitation of resources. WNHM™ serves 80 church sites throughout South Texas by providing Wesley Nurses to minister to those in need. Wesley Nurses work in partnership with other individuals and organizations committed to a health care outreach mission. Deedee's job will not be to provide on-site nursing services such as wounded care, etc. The partnership of church, nurse, and community is the core of this holistic program. Wesley nurses assist individuals and communities in achieving improved health and wellness through self-empowerment and access to health care resource information. The professional practice of the Wesley Nurse is not limited to the physical dimension of medical needs; rather, it includes a mind/body/spirit holistic approach. Methodist Healthcare Ministries supplies all the financial support for this position (salary, benefits, etc.). Our job, as a church, is to provide her office space and to create a Health Ministry team to work in partnership with her to vision, evaluate, and implement ways to serve the underserved population in our community. Health care professionals and others are encouraged to consider serving on this team. If this interests you, please contact Anna or Russell! Pray for Deedee, and this new way we can be the hands and feet of Christ to those in need. As deacons in the church, our heart, calling, and vocation is to connect the church and the world in meaningful ways. - Rev Dr Russell Miller, and Rev Anna Troy
