Weddings Welcome to the First United Methodist Church Wedding information page and congratulations on your upcoming nuptials! Founded in 1875 as one of the early churches in Boerne, the historic First United Methodist Church is available for weddings for members and non-members alike. Our main sanctuary has a seating capacity of over 500 persons, and is well suited for larger weddings. While we do weddings for non-members, it is required that a minister from First United Methodist Church perform the ceremony.
