For many years, FUMC-Boerne has built a strong tradition of excellence in music and the arts. The main sanctuary is widely regarded as being one of the most acoustically outstanding locations for music performances in the area.

FUMC-Boerne offers choir programs for all ages, handbell choirs and a dramatic performance series throughout the year featuring outstanding musicians and singers. Featured groups have included the Cactus Pear and Camerata San Antonio Chamber ensembles, San Antonio Choral Society, Brass Fix, Texas A&M Singing Cadets, and Double Ring handbell duo.

We invite you to join us as we seek to serve God and God's people with excellence in Music and the Arts. First Methodist offers a wide variety of opportunities to utilize your God-given gift of musical or artistic talents.

If God has given to you the gift and love of music, we will find a way to help you express that gift here. We have musical opportunities for almost every age, and a variety of expressions: choirs, handbells, praise and worship teams, drama groups, creative movement, and more! You don’t even have to be a member of our congregation. All that is required is a love of God, a love of music, and a gift to share.
