CONFERENCES CONSIDER MERGER
Our Southwest Texas Conference and Rio Grande Conferences are considering unification. Both Conferences will need to approve this action. You may learn more about this possible historic change at www.onepeopleum.org <http://www.onepeopleum.org/>

CFS - CHILDREN FIRST SUNDAY
It's new! It's fun! It's Children First Sunday (CFS). Each 1st Sunday, Beginning October 2 through May6 from 5 to 7PM (location TBA). We invite all kids in Kinder thru 5th grade to meet for Small Groups, Snack Supper, and Fellowship. BRING A FRIEND! We're looking for 3-5 Parent Teams to sponsor and mentor small groups for the eight (8) meetings in the school year. For information, email Kerry Kirtley >

CHAIRS
The new building needs new chairs! The Building Committee would like to give the congregation the opportunity to donate by sponsoring chairs at $60 a chair. We have 350 chairs that need to be purchased. If you would like to help in this way, make your checks to FUMC with "Chairs" in the memo line. THANK YOU!

PAVERS
Commemorative Personalized Pavers for the walkway to the new Christian Education Building are on sale today! An individual 4"x8" paver with up to 3 lines of engraving is available for $100. A block paver, 16"x16" with more customized engraving options, is available for $1,000. This is a great opportunity to remember or honor a loved one, friend, or local group or organization.
