Activities
We will provide indoor and outdoor playtime, learning time, story time, music time, chapel time, arts and crafts, nap time, and field trips. All of this is based on a Christian curriculum.

Parent Volunteers
Parent volunteers may help with snacks, drive on local field trips, and help with holiday parties. Please notify your teacher if interested.

Lunches
Please send a lunch and drink for your child in a sack or lunch box clearly labeled with his/her name. Simple finger foods are encouraged. Please do not send food that needs heating. refrigeration or leaks easily.

Health Policy
In the interest of every child's welfare, only healthy children will be cared for at Mother's Day Out.

• If a child has symptoms of illness; such as elevated temperature, conjunctivitis, rash, vomiting or diarrhea, parents are requested to keep the child at home.
• Please remember that Mother's Day Out Staff cannot dispense any medications.
• Please be sure that your child's immunizations are up to date, and that the office has an updated copy of the shot record at all times.

Discipline and Guidance
We believe that discipline and guidance must be consistent. Our approach is to promote self-discipline and acceptable behavior based on understanding of individual needs and development. We utilize positive reinforcement; however, the center may use brief, supervised separation from the group ("time-out"), if necessary.

Additional Information
Please do not send toys except those needed for nap time or for show and tell. Everything needs labels; diaper bags, blankets, mats, coats, toys for nap, lunches, change of clothes. Bring disposable diapers. For new registrants, school bags for your child's belongings are available for purchase.
