Paul Evans Biography

Married to Donna for 16 years. Donna is a third-grade teacher at Fair Oaks Ranch Elementary School. Paul and Donna have one son, Michael, who is in the 9th grade at Boerne Middle School North. Michael is active in the BHS Band, AFJROTC and swims for the Alamo Area Aquatics. He loves being involved in the youth group at FUMC.

Paul is a native of Abilene Texas. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, with concentration in Management, from McMurry University. Evans has a Masters of Divinity from Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University. He was employed by West Texas Utilities Company for eleven years before entering full-time pastoral ministry. Rev. Evans has been on staff at FUMC=Boerne since June, 2006.

Paul's principle responsibilities include teaching and preaching, pastoral care, leadership of the Saturday night The Gathering worship service, and FUMC’s outreach and witness ministries. Since 1998, Paul has served local churches in McCamey, Bronte, Caddo Mills, Merit and Boerne, Texas.
